Even if the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved doesn't do well on the market, the series is nevertheless getting another pair of remakes that'll bring Halo 2 and 3 to the Unreal Engine. The former is scheduled to release this year and will apparently only be the beginning of Halo Studios' remake run.
This is according to YouTuber Rebs Gaming (via Eurogamer), who said that all three games are in active development at Halo Studios, with Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes to release, no matter how well Campaign Evolved ends up doing. "One of my new sources sent me proof to verify themselves and that the trilogy remakes are definitely happening, regardless of how well Campaign Evolved does," Rebs Gaming said in his video.
Apparently, the prequel missions that are to appear in Campaign Evolved are to contain content from the second and third games, such as the Brutes, which will serve as hints toward these upcoming remakes. This, however, couldn't
