Cyberpunk 2077 is enjoying another resurgence in popularity, with the game's player count on Steam being at its highest level in over two years. While the game has averaged around 30,000 concurrent players per day (via SteamDB) over the last month, currently, that number has spiked over the last week and has peaked at over 87,000 players so far. What's the driving force behind this increase in chooms headed to Night City? A simple answer: It's dirt-cheap to buy right now.
With the Steam Summer Sale in full swing, Cyberpunk 2077 has been discounted to $18 for the duration of the event, a price reduction of 70%.
