Lords of the Fallen 2 is not going to make it out on time. Developer CI Games has announced that the game is shifting from 2026 to Q1 2027 (January-March 2027).
CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski said feedback and tests showed that there are "meaningful opportunities" available to "further refine and strengthen the overall experience" with more time.
"These enhancements will benefit from additional integration, iteration, and polishing time, enabling the team to deliver the highest possible quality at launch," he said.
Delaying to 2027 also gives Lords of the Fallen 2 a better chance to shine, outside of what he described as a "competitive holiday period." That's no doubt a reference GTA 6, which is set for release on November 19.
